Water, Flood, Fire, Smoke, and Wind Damage Repair 24 hours a day 7 days a Week.

ESN Restoration Services is contacted by you or your insurance company and requested to respond urgently. At this time, your loss will be assigned to a team. Each team consists of a Coordinator, Estimator and Project Manager.

Emergency Repair Procedure

Flood / Water

  1. Plumber dispatched by ESN Restoration Services to perform a leak detection. This will determine the origin of the damage.
  2. At the property owner's discretion, the plumber can repair the leak. It is the property owner's responsibility to pay for the plumber and any repairs made.  Home insurance generally covers the resulting damage(s) caused by the leak.
  3. Our EMS techs will remove or prepare water damaged materials (drywall, baseboards, carpet pad, etc) for drying and drying equipment will be placed in affected areas to facilitate dry out.
  4. Crews will need access to the property for daily monitoring of the drying process (multiple days).
  5. If applicable, mold affected areas are contained and the direction of a qualified health professional is requested.
  6. Removal of any mold-affected materials must be done at the direction of you, your insurance company representative and/or a hygienist. The process of mold removal (remediation) can take several days due to the necessary steps involved.
  7. ESN Restoration Services requires that the property owner hire an industrial hygienist to provide written clearance following any mold remediation.

Fire

  1. Fire damaged structures are secured
  2. Board ups
  3. Roof cover up
  4. Temporary fencing
  5. Temporary demolition & shoring
  6. Insurance rep and fire investigator may inspect to determine cause of loss.
  7. Electrician dispatched by ESN Restoration Services to establish temporary power, if needed.
  8. Our EMS techs will remove or prepare water damaged materials (drywall, baseboards, carpet pad, etc) for drying and drying equipment will be placed in affected areas to facilitate dry out and mitigate secondary damages.
  9. Crews will need access to the property for daily monitoring of the drying process (multiple days).
  10. If applicable, mold affected areas are contained and the direction of a qualified health professional is requested.

Smoke / Soot

  1. Soot is very acidic and corrosive. Therefore, our Contents crew will start clean up as soon as approval is given by you and/or your insurance rep.
  2. Priority attention will be directed to tile, fixtures, mirrors, glass, china, etc. as these surfaces can etch.
  3. All hard surfaces will be wiped clean from top-bottom.

Your Belongings

  1. Contents are moved or removed from the property if necessary (personal property removed from the premises will be inventoried and secured).
  2. Contents are cleaned.
  3. Electronics are cleaned and restored.
  4. Garments are cleaned and restored.
  5. Items are stored in vaults at our facility in San Marcos until your home has been repaired.
